SECTION A: POPULATION AND DEVELOPMENT: 40% marks.

SECTION A: PRACTICAL GEOGRAPHY 40% marks.

1.Carefully study the given extract map and  answer the questions that follow.
(a) With concrete evidences from the map, suggest the type of climate experienced.
(b) Describe the physical features shown on the given map.
(c) Draw annotated cross section from grid point 280540 to a grid point 230580
(d) Redraw the given map to a scale of 1:100,000
(e) From the redrawn map in (d) above, calculate the following:-
     (i) Area size of sisal estate in square kilometers.
     (ii) The total length in kilometers of the all weather road.

2.Carefully study the given statistical hypothetic data and answer the questions that follow:-

(b) Give the merits of such method.
